Ben and Lou's laid back nuptials- Family flower farm, Central Coast NSW
Before the wedding, I met Lou at her families flower farm to hear all about the wedding plans and scope out photo locations, by the end of our meeting -my head was swimming. Charming paddocks, fallen trees, fields of flowers- oh yeah, and a train carriage. Should be enough to work with I said….
Ben and Lou where all about having a laid back wedding where they could simply celebrate with there nearest and dearest. “We are really aiming for a relaxed party vibe,” the couple said. The ceremony was held in the prettiest open paddock on the property with a stunning bush backdrop. The reception, held later in the evening, was celebrated under marquees and fairy lights. The Wandering Waterhole provided an open bar (with some wick cocktails!) and delicious canapes where served throughout the evening compliments of The there words not mine!! To top it all off, the real party started after a fireworks display!
Lou and Ben met through Lou's sister and husband at a festival. “We got stuck together all day and have been together ever since,” the couple wrote. Seven years later into their relationship, Ben popped the question while they were away for the holidays. “I was looking for pippies in the water when Ben pulled out the ring claiming to be a pippie,” Lou recalled. “[It was] very relaxed, and natural.”
On their special day, Lou and Ben were able to do all of the things they love. They surrounded themselves with good music, and celebrated the people that matter the most in their life
