Hello World! Meet Alaska Sage

Big brothers are born first to protect their little sister right? Baby Alaska will never have to worry with Nixon and Harley on the case. This was my first session back after having my little man Kohv… Jess (Alaska’s mum) and I are old pals-and just happened to give birth one day after the other, so Kohv was actually at this session- being somewhat of a good boy for only being a few days old while mum worked…. it was actually so nice to get out of the house!

Pregnancy and having a newborn can be somewhat isolating, I don’t think I was prepared for that side of motherhood (particularly the first time around) You can often feel out of the loop and really isolated from the real world, but it has been so nice to go through the journey with a close friend, from finding out the gender of our bubs, partipating in all sorts of undesirable activities trying to bring on labor (spicey food, reflexolgy (OWWWW, that shit hurts!) among many other things!) sharing war stories from Labor, and now enjoying the first few weeks of tiring newborn bliss.
