Liv and Kyle tie the knot at Bimbadgen Palmers Lane.

My job rocks- I’m lucky enough in my line of work to be able to photograph all kinds of couples and hear the amazing, sometimes sloppy, romantic, stories about their relationship and how it all began. In the case of Kyle and Olivia, it was an exceptionally cute and wholesome one - this couple has been together since they met at the age of 14 (crazy Notebook movie stuff right????)  at a mutual friend’s birthday party, and 10 years later on 6th March 2021, they tied the knot in the beautiful Hunter Valley at Bimbadgen Palmers Lane.

Bimbadgen Palmers Lane stood out to them straight away, and I can see why - Its freaking stunning- I struggle to take a bad photo of it!! It is a beautiful open space that can mold to any couples taste, there is accomodation onsite (a MASSIVE tick in my books!!!) and  the location is out of a movie. You can pick multiple spots on site to hold the ceremony but Liv and Kyle chose the vineyards and the breathtaking mountain range as their backdrop…. From mountains to fire pits to vines, it was a true modern country wedding and I am dying over their photos!

The big day itself was 2 years in the making, with the proposal occurring in Queenstown, New Zealand in 2019. This was their second trip there; on the first, Olivia told Kyle that she would love to go on a helicopter ride up to the glaciers. So, with that in mind, Kyle organised this to happen on their second trip, as well as a proposal and a photographer to capture the memories! A truly romantic gesture like that can only come from a couple that’s really meant for eachother, and upon asking the two of them about their “love story”, that’s exactly the impression I got! They grew up together, are each other’s best friend and have accomplished so many goals together including their first jobs, their first cars and their first house.

Kyle’s favourite thing about Liv is her smile, and her favourite thing about Kyle is his sense of humour, and both of them are adamant that they are both better together. I’m so happy I got to photograph their wedding at Bimbadgen Palmers Lane and document this huge milestone in their journey. Enjoy these photos from their epic day and you may even find some inspiration if you’re planning an outdoor wedding yourself!
