Isn’t he adorable?

This sleepy milk-drunk babe is Jack. Born in the middle of winter to his dotting parents Shane and Jody. Jack was a whole 14 days old when I came over for his newborn lifestyle session. The first few weeks with a newborn can be a whirlwind to say the least, so when it comes to a a babies first photoshoot-nothing beats home when it comes to giving a comfortable, familiar environment where everyone in the family can relax and be true to themselves.

With that being said, home could also be found in different places. Shane and Jody, the beach is there home away from home. In fact, the lovely couple maternity photoshoot at North Avoca. “We love the beach,” Shane said. “If we weren’t watching movies or shopping, we would be spending our Saturday afternoons here.”

Throughout the photo shoots I had with them, I witnessed how much this family has been nothing more than affectionate and doting with each other. I had an incredible experience working with them. If there’s one word to describe them as a family, they say it is loving – and that couldn’t be more perfect.
