Welcome to Kendell Tyne Photography- A little about this business.

Welcome!!! I am so glad you found me.  My name is Kendell (Kendell Tyne Photography…duh) and some of you that are reading may well already know me. I originally started a business by the name Imagine Images Photography in 2009. Back then I was fresh out of Uni and in my early twenties, and although I was overflowing with enthusiasm and passion, a few years of experience have made me realize that although my intentions where admirable- they were little unclear and honestly, all over the place.

Your twenties are supposed designated time when you are meant to “find yourself”. Now, I’ve been looking…  I’ve literally been searching across the globe waiting to bump into myself, and despite never having and revelations or a ray of light streaming through the clouds, I can honestly say I have  met people, experienced things and learnt lessons I willl carry with me for life.  Self-proclamations aside, looking back on myself at the time in which I started Imagine Images, I can barely recognize that person. (And its not just because Ive gone up a Jean Size or two…) As I have grown as a person and an artist, so has my business. I’ve have been triumphant and I have made mistakes. I have been fortunate enough meet amazing people through work and my personal life that have shaped my business and my experience to date.

Mood Board- beggining stages of rebrand. Things, colours and textures that make me happy.

When I began the journey of rebranding my business- I wanted the brand and business to be a reflection of what makes me happy. Some people might think its a bit strange to have an elephant in the logo- but if the business is named after me- I thought, why the hell not?  Elephants (and animals in general) are creatures that make me extremely happy. Everything you see above, whether its textures, colours, or things, they are all elements that I find appealing and wanted to see in my rebrand.

Today, I have a clear sense of who I am and what I want from my career, and this is rooted deeply in my photographic style.  Rebranding and changing my business name is one of the biggest professional decisions I have ever made.  I want my brand to be deeply personal, not a blanket indirect fluffy name like Imagine Images. I didn’t have a clear direction when I originally named the business Imagine Images- I didn’t have a real style, a realistic business plan or even a ideal client in mind. What I do take from it though is the experience and the journey and how it has ultimately shaped my next direction.

I want my business and branding to be a true reflection of my tastes and my artistic voice.  I am honoured you took the time to witness and hopefully support my new venture, I am beyond excited for this next big step.
