Relaxed and rustic where the 2 words used to describe the desired vibe of Chelsea and Declan’s stunning wedding- held on a private property in Mandalong- an place that is special and familiar to them with family residing in the area. The open air pavilion had the most stunning outlook over the gully and made for the perfect backdrop for their ceremony and photos. Chelsea and Declan love camping and getting away for adventures in there Landcruiser (with their adorable spaniel Sonny who you will notice made a cameo at the wedding!), so the Teepee’s for a sleepovers and a campfire made it feel more like a luxury outdoorsy getaway for guests rather then a formal wedding and felt perfectly inline with the couples love of the outdoors.

Not everyone opts for a full day of photography coverage, C & D opted for a half day package as they wanted to relax, let loose and party the night away with family and friends so I bid them adieu just as the formalities came to a close. Every wedding is different and couples place importance on different elements of the day. For me - I do my best to get to know the fundamental elements of my couples relationships, what they find unique and love about each other, and what is core values that they would love to see reflected in their wedding photography. Getting to know their stories and what makes them tick keep this gig forever fresh and challenging for me- even 13 years into wedding photography!
